Most Useful Equipment?

In my opinion, the most useful piece of equipment is the longshot/hookshot. It proves very useful in battles and does not require the use of arrows which can deduct from you rupees and/or magic meter. Unfortunately, it does not have the same damaging affects as arrows. It can destroy weaker enemies however on larger enemies it can only stun. What do you think is the most useful in LOZ?

I agree with you, the hookshot is probably the most useful just because you can do so many things with it.

I totally agree with what you said. Besides it can take you out from a very difficult situation. Anyway, another important item you should always keep with you is the bomb sack. This item is really useful whether when you face an enemy or some rocks blocking the path.

I agree with you, but I think the double claw shot from twilight princess took the hook shot and just pumped with steroids. There are so many places where the claw shot is useful

I agree with you, the Hookshot/Clawshot/Longshot are the most versatile and useful weapons. They have some attack power, being able to kill enemies like Keese/Skulltulas/ChuChus and also have the ability to grapple onto targets.
I really liked the Clawshots from Skyward Sword, they were used greatly in the Lanayru Sand Sea and Lanayru Desert area.

So far everyone has agreed with you, so allow me not to completely agree with you. The hookshot is very useful in tight situations, but in battles I'd rather arrows (fire arrows are best) they have great long distance damage and are easier to manuvre than the hookshot

I agree with mega and you. Long shot has many uses and it's over all pretty useful. Master sword cause it's the blade of Evil's Bane, the sword of time, and it's a SWORD! Also the Sailcloth is pretty useful it when you jump off the Loftwing and didn't use the sailcloth then Link would die

Sure I like the Longshot too but I also like the bow and arrow cuz you can try to hit enemies from far far far away an the hookshot can destroy certain enemies proving very useful in both battle and fun . But still i like arrows................

Ah, I think the Longshot is better than the Bow and Arrow, but both have their advantages. However, since I've always been a fan of melee combat, I must say the Master sword. It makes me feel like I'm invincible and can just rip through anything. No, seriously, it's great. xD

I used the boomerang the most of all the items, one you can stun your enemies, and in some games like Links awaking it 1hko's most enemies

I'd say the bombs. There are many places to blow up to reveal cave entrances and inside dungeons themselves. Sometimes you need to throw them over a ditch so they can activate a switch to open a door, which is pretty cool. It can also hurt enemies, if you have good aim and use them properly, which is a plus.

Master sword if fun to use and is the basic killing thingy weapon for all enemies. I mean, you could hook shot an enemy, but I would be a pain if you got tackled by a mob of little pitchfork espurrs (forgot what they're called ) Master sword is obviously the right answer XD. Just kidding haha, everyone is entitled to their own opinion

There are different varieties of the hookshot, but they all serve the same purpose of getting Link to places and collecting items, the bombs are also an extremely useful item as they let you explore new areas find new areas and are used in lots of glitches, swords and shields are also useful, but they are required items.

Bombs are really useful in any LoZ game 2D or 3D. They are used to open up hidden pathways, defeat bosses or enemies, and can allow you to play the entire NES game without using a sword which is a challenge in itself. I wish I had a plant that grows bombs as fast as I used them.

I'd say the Bow. You get four different flavors of messing up enemies, you can equip bombs to your arrows to make Bomb Arrows in TP, and you can use it while riding Epona. When it comes to using it while riding Epona, that takes some skill and I respect that.

I think that the Bow and Ice Arrows are most useful and also my favorite, but the hookshot is also useful in a lot of situations. The ice arrows can stun/freeze the enemys for a while plus do double damages than all other arrows, so yeah, they're good. The problem is trying to obtain the arrows

It's not much of a problem if you're regularly mowing down enemies and you have a large enough quiver.

The Hookshot is really useful. Sure it is slow when it gets fired and takes a while to get to its destination , but it takes you to so many places. It then takes another great step when in TP, you get two. Aside from that, the bow and arrow are useful as well and even play a key part in Majora's Mask and other Zelda games.

The bow is the most useful because you can attack enemies from long range with it. Also, you can have fire arrows.
