do you like that they added the art of the mounted:drink coffee while feeling moostace. but anyway i think the mount is great for exclample if your hunting the gore and if its in demon mode than you can mount it and after your done than you can smack it hourns and get it out of demon mode:slap some random dude than make him read this. does that sound harsh

it's only good when the people you're hunting with know not to attack when someone is mounting!!! otherwise they'll just break the mount and waste a bunch of free attacks >.<

I abuse the hell out of it on monsters where my attacks bounce off (Lookin at you Basarios and Gravios )
Makes it easier to deal with them versus always bringing bombs.

I use mounting more on solo, as online normally the Glaive user does all the mounting. In single player, though I still mount while using the Long Sword, I mount much more when I'm using the SnS, due to its special attacks. In other words, I don't just use it, I abuse it.

Well... that sounds clear now hahaha I was one of those who didnt know about it, i just thought i was helping the dude do more harm to the beast.

Anyway, to me this thing about mounting is just great, you know, it reminds me in some way to Shadow of the Colossus, which is also another terrific game. For example, it may be something that could raise certain proud among players, for example the four hunters go hunting and then they come accross a monster, one of them mounts it and does great harm to it. Then that player migh think to himself wow I was the first one to mont it
