Music Updates = Confirmed!!!

"There are no music updates on the site itself as of now, but this image is still part of the official site (note the URLhttp://www.smashbros.com/us/images/index/image/update-cat.png . That image is used for all of the update categories on the Updates list for the 3DS site which you can find here:

Basically the site uses CSS rules to only show a snippet of the above image for certain categories. So when you see a "Character" or "Game Modes" category image, they all have the same source image, but show different small sections of it so it only shows the relevant part. The source image they use also has text for a "Music" category, despite the fact that we currently don't have any music updates on the site (suggesting we'll get one or more in the future.) Hopefully that makes sense!

At first I thought I might have just missed a really old music update, but there are currently no .css rules for a music category yet (which there are for the other categories.)"


I decided to check myself using F12.. and sure enough (I DID NOT EDIT THIS):

So I guess music is confirmed to get updates in the future!!! Thoughts?...

This is great because who doesn't love more stuff and as a fan of all VGM I would love to see the best lineup the composers/arrangers can make. Sure I might not like every piece the same but it is the thought of quality that matters (not that it is not there).

Great, nice move from Nintendo to do this, if they add some more music in the 3DS version, it'll be even better (wait, isn't SSB4 the best fighting game actually ?) !

Some more music would always be welcome. A good soundtrack can really make the game just a little bit more interesting and fun. Kid Icarus: Uprising had an amazing soundtrack, and I'm sure Smash Bros will have some rocking tunes too.

AYYYYYYY, THAT DREAM TEAM MUSIC, THOUGH. You know how everyone was like "no, these games are just titles that the composers have worked on, not music that will be in Smash."? Well if Dream Team (a fairly recent game) gets representation, who knows? Kingdom Hearts/MGS could still be in! Also, Samurai DID say that more tracks are available for Smash Run and Sound test...but don't get your hopes up this is just a theory.
