I thought I could go ahead and post some of the stuff I've drawn. They're not that great though, so look at your own risk. Or don't. That's fine too.

It's not bad at all! I like the first picture the most.

What do you use to draw them?

Thanks!

The smaller drawings are made in Colors!3D for the 3DS, the larger ones are made in Paint Tool SAI using a tablet, the third last was drawn traditionally and then scanned, and the last one is made in Art Academy: Sketch Pad for the Wii U.

I like the second Marth the most. The light effects look really great. Did you use pencils? It looks a bit like crayon or really soft pencils to me. I'm not very talented at digital drawing so I have to say that these look pretty good. My favourite drawing program on the pc is sumopaint but drawing with a mouse is a pain.

Thanks! The first Marth was drawn in September 2014 or something, while the second is fairly recent. I used normal pencils for the colouring, and ink for the outlines.
You could get a drawing tablet, it makes drawing on the computer much easier (though might take a while to get used to it).

You seem to have made quite a bit of progress through the year then. But it's hard to compare digital drawings to physical drawings since the techniques are quite different. I am considering buying a drawing tablet but the good ones are so expensive!

Not sure about that, I put a lot more effort into the second one. But I guess there might have been some improvements.
Yeah, they can't really be compared.
I found mine for about $80 and it works just fine, so you should be able to find a good one for a decent price.

What did you get? I was considering a Bamboo pad (since the Intuos Pro costs of $500).

I got a Wacom Intuos Pen Small (I think, I can never remember the full name). It can't compare to the best tablets, but it works for what I use it for.

Wow that is quite a lot that you drew :D I am not much of a good drawer so congrats on it . I really liked the first on and the another meta knight one . I am really terrible when it comes to drawing on computer so then again I would congratulate you . Very very good :)

They're beautiful :3

One constructive criticism: Details, are important, maybe add shadows or something,^-^

I love your art style. You should enter some art contests in the future ^^

This is a collection of the best I've drawn since 2013, I have a lot more.
Don't say that, it's nothing some practise can't fix. It took me months before I learned how to draw on the computer.

Thanks! I'll keep your advice in mind the next time I draw.
Maybe I will someday.
