three weeks in,my rig died......but by what...well, the CPU that i got from Ebay had a some "shipping issues"
so i had to buy a new one and...yep it worked for three weeks. and to say the least, you should be careful when buying electronics from Ebay,Creglist,or any used electronics shop. be safe and have a careful shopping spree! :D ~xknyght:cat:

I don't really trust online merchants. When something goes wrong it may be hard to get it fixed. But sorry to hear that, I bet that's really annoying. Hope you can get a new one soon to replace it. Just buy it locally. xD

Oh, that's sad. There might have been a voltage issue in your area, because my PSU got destroyed by that. Once after that, 4 of my 6 fans in my gaming PC stopped working, and temperatures rose up to 106 C. All I can say is, keep an eye on your PC's components. If you have an MSi motherboard, use MSi Afterburner to monitor your hardware.

eBay... It's more like StealBay! My parents were tricked more than once by that website. Next time, use Amazon, it's safer.

*Back to subject* What happened exactly, could you give me more details, please? What kind of CPU is it? AMD, Intel ? And what were you doing when it happened ?

Yes, eBay is not trustworthy at all. I have never used eBay, and I will always use Amazon or another trusted website if I ever need to order online. As for the specs, are you asking me, or Xnyght?

I was asking Xknight. Also, same for me, I always use Amazon. It's way safer, and never got any problem with it.

A quad-core  ? Then, it must be because one of the core died. That happened to me once with a Dual-Core laptop, Intel too. Well, yes, next time, use Amazon, or go to the local electronic shop if you have plenty of money :rotfl: !

Sorry to hear that. eBay is extremely risky, but I've seemed to have good luck with it. Fun fact, my mom sells stuff on eBay and that's how we make a living lmaooo

But yeah, when it comes to electronics, especially big purchases, I always buy what I need in a store.

WOw that's hard so what i recommend you is to take the rest of the pc pieces and buy others parts to build a new performant one and who is more powerfull to play games.
