In an alternate universe where Pokemon exists
Towns Folk
Now that Pokémon Sun, And Pokémon Moon have been given release dates and have been leaked, what could we add in generation 8?
Here is my Idea. A new region, but there is one catch. The game will stay in this one region until you defeat the elite four. Then, you unlock a boat (Or maybe a plane?). The cool thing about this boat is that I could take you to another REGION. You basically unlock all of the other regions, but you can use your
new Pokémon in it.
This could bring in a lot of players because Gen Wunners, Or just anyone who wants old regions can have them.
This could help you dramatically to complete the Pokédex, because In PKMN, X, Y, Omega Ruby, And alpha sapphire, It is impossible to complete the Pokédex unless you have many friends, or you have the older games.
Here is an example of what I mean. (I only need one more Pokémon to complete the pokedex. I need to get Rattata. *Goes to Kanto Region. This player can go over to Route 101 and catch a Rattata.)

I would also Like to See an in-game tutorial about EV's And IV's. Only A few players understand them, so It would be nice to have it.

Can we please not start talking about gen 8 already

The EV and IV ingame tutorial is a nice idea, which actually could be in some later games
But going to other regions wont be a Thing, unless its like in Johto where the "main" Region (Johto) was just a small Advancement for the other region (Kanto). You are also supposed to get all Pokemon without Trade.
You see,the thing is the trade function is kind of a advertisment.
2 People with the Game are needed for Trade, while only 1 Person with the Game would be needed to get Everything if you could get the whole Pokedex filled without Trade.
So,it makes double the Money if you can only get the full Pokedex if someone else has the other game Edition.
Thats the only Reason why there are 2(3 depeding on Gen) different Editions of the Game of the current Generation.
