My Pokemon Horror Story

[Masterminor]

Several years ago, when I was just getting into Pokemon, my parents got me Pokemon: XD Gale of Darkness for my 11th birthday, and I played it religiously. I played throughout the game and I'll try not to spoil to much here in case someone was either just born or lived under a rock all this time. There comes a time close to the endgame where you get a Master Ball meant to catch a legen -wait for it- dary Pokemon I was too stupid to think to use a walkthrough or at least an internet search to figure out what Pokemon to use it on, I didn't pay attention to what Pokemon XD001 was and I went to the fortune teller lady to try to figure out what Pokemon the Master Ball was meant for, after a while I actually tried to go find it and see if any Pokemon fit the description I was given by the fortune teller.

That description being a blue Pokemon with spikey things. I get to the island where the boss of the bad guys are and use the Master Ball on one of the first blue Pokemon with spikey things on their head that I see: a Golduck.

I like to share this story on all Pokemon related forums that I join, to give others a chuckle and help lift the spirits of anyone who thinks they suck at Pokemon, because I doubt anyone can suck worse than that. I hope you enjoyed my story and maybe share some of your own horror/funny stories on your own Pokemon adventures.

I loved Gale of Darkness!

I have a funny story, I was spending one evening training up my Pokémon because I finished the game. I had a baby Pokémon with me I think it was Cleffa or Togepi anyway I was having them battle equal level or lower Pokémon to help them win.

I decided to battle water type Pokémon like Magikarp because they were higher level than Cleffa/Togepi but since it only knew flail and splash my baby would win.

Well I underestimated Magikarp that day. Even move Cleffa/Togepi used missed and Magikarp just splashed. I tried running but I couldn't run away and Magikarp just splashed.

And splashed and splashed. And I still couldn't run even though my team was much stronger and at a higher level. I was about to restart my game when Magikarp used Tackle K.O.-ing my team....

I lost to troll Pokémon

I have a story. I once tried catching Cresselia In Omega Ruby, and spent nearly an hour spamming Ultra balls when its health was low enough.In the end, i caught with a single regular pokeball after running out of Ultra balls (I had about 67 when the fight started).

My story when i played with Pokemon cards i had a Dialga EX i was 5 and my cousin told me i'll give you this super duper rare Pidgey for that horrible Dialga. So i did the trade....
