Details? I mainly use GIMP and have done so for quite a few years. It has most of the features from Photoshop and it's free. In fact, I've become so used to it... I tried a trial of Photoshop and promptly uninstalled it, due to a confusing layout. I guess that's what I get for using GIMP for so long.

Anyways, here are some samples of my signatures (I go by many usernames, 'Kurairush' being one of more common ones):

A little... suggestive and my first vertical signature(whenever a spoiler BBCode is installed, I will cover it with one):

Those are pretty good. The effects are nice, and the colors blend in well with one another.

One thing I would say is - the text isn't all that good, but adding/choosing the right font/font size can be difficult.
 
theres to much going on in those sigs. Like you just threw a bunch of things into it and the colors are just all crazy
