SSB for Wii U My theory on who is the next DLC character

By the time I write this, the Smash Bros special broadcast has been released online, and this could be proven false, so please be aware when this was made.

So the direct is tomorrow, so hang on to your butts. So while I wa researching one of my favorite games recently, Tales of the Abyss, I noticed something. The game is going to turn 10 in two days, which will be the day after the broadcast. So I'm thinking "If the broadcast is happening the day before Tales of the Abyss tuns 10, does it mean Luke Fon Fabre is the next DLC character?" Of course I could be wrong and I am prepared to be wrong, but that the direct and the anniversary were happening side-to-side concerned me. But it would be amazing if Luke was in Smash.

Yes Luke Skywalker for smash i got another supporter here!!! kek no jk i see what you said does make sense but the ballot winner is going to be shantae or shovel knight i am completely sure of that if not we got trolled by nintendo but i would like some star wars characters but they wouldnt fit in or they are not possible to have

Umm, i never heard of luke, maybe i did but don't know what you're talkning about but i think or atleast hope the next one is a villain. If luke is a villain then great but if not, im really looking for someone like wolf or king k rool.
And umm, not to get your hopes down but something like this happened with the lucas theory, where it was earth day that they were introducing someone, and everyone thought it was lucas because he's from the game earthbound, but was actually released later. So maybe luke will be released later. I mean they both sound similar with the "luke" sound in their names.

From Yoda's comment it seems like the Smash Ballot winner hasn't been announced, which I thought it was with Cloud's announcement in Smash. As always, I'm going on popular vote and putting my bet on either Shantae or Shovel Knight joining the fray. And if a vet should return, than it has to be Snake. I rather have an original character return than another clone.
