My thoughts on "update 1.1.0."

So recently Nintendo released update 1.1.0. and this thread is basically my thoughts on the update.

The mii costumes and DLC:
As many of you know this update came with a few mii costumes these costumes made some fans salty
these costumes are samus armor, Black Knight, Flying Man, Bear Suit and Hoodies.

The costumes that upset some fans were King K. Rool, Chrom and Lloyd
What are my opinions of these costumes? I like the black knight outfit its really awesome! unlike other fans
I don't mind any of the mii suits like kk rool or chrom I don't like those chars personally....

As for the stages Peaches Castle and Hyrule Castle are my favorite N64 Stages so I obviously love them not much more to say other than Go buy this retro stage

The Youtube upload function:
Apparently it sucks. Let me say this before I begin.... I don't own the wii u version
I know I know I can see you typing a reply to the thread saying
"How are you gonna talk about the YT upload thing without owning a wii u?"
Well to that I say I don't need to own a wii u to know the upload function sucks
what do I mean? Well for starters you can only record 3 MINUTE MATCHES! obviously It sucks how you only got 3 minutes to play a match in a funny way in 3 minutes also I hear that Nintendo auto-claims all replays uploaded like that.
if I'm gonna upload a smash replay it needs to be funny or clever like a really stylish kill or something
and 3 minutes isn't enough time to get that in 5 minutes would be enough but no we get 3.

So to sum it up yeah it sucks everything is fine EXCEPT the damn youtube thing.....

I can't put how little I care about Mii costumes into words - I bought Protoman (who should've been a Megaman alt in the first place) and Black Knight (because I sure love Fire Emblem), but other than that I really don't care about them. A lot are pretty bad, and as long as the head items are like dumb Halloween masks instead of actual proper headgear/masks, they'll continue being bad.

The stages are great and having the tornado back makes me happy.

I'm not a Youtuber and don't care to be a Youtuber, so I absolutely don't care about the upload function. The best way to handle replays honestly should've been a "convert to MP4, put on SD card" option. I occasionally get crazy good plays and want to share a specific part. I'm not going to the trouble of creating a Google account and uploading a replay to Youtube to point to one specific timestamp. I'd rather get the MP4 onto my computer and then trim it down to a specific part. Guess I'll still be holding my phone up to the TV.

Also, tournament mode is just... bad. It's awful. We really waited eight months for this nonsense?

Well it's decent.
Pros:
Patches help game (I mean character) balance even more
More Stages and Bundles for better buys on DLC
A new mode and Free DLC
Cons:
More Mii Costumes no one needs and are a waste of money
You still have to pay for DLC
Still more glitches and problems that need to be fixed

I've had a small taste of both sides of the story. I like game patches and watching people play new competitive stages and use DLC characters but there is still major problems with this game that needs to be resolved in the next patch. As far as I'm concerned I have no way of sharing replays to friends ever since watching those two hacked replays. I only have the 3DS version so I have no experience with any Wii U updates besides the easy playing as characters and DLC fighters on a friends up to date Wii U.
