My town and how I make bells

Hello, my town is named Lavender Town named after one of the spookiest pokemon towns. I have about seven-elleven people in it. The way I make bells is by sometimes by going to a friends town and selling their different crops(with permission) or by finding the daily money rock. If you hit the rock with a shovel bells will start popping out.

You should try going on Tortimer Island and catch as many beetles as you can to sell in Re-Tail later.

Were you able to type Lavender town as your town name? You could have been able to just type lavender as the name supports only 8 letters maximum. And to earn bells, go to the island when it is unlocked. It may not be unlocked if you just started so for now just sell fruits (grow foreign fruits and sell them. That would be better.)

Going to Tortimer Island everyday close to the night like at 7pm and start catching beetles, in a few minutes you will catch enough to provide you a very good amount of bells selling the beetles in the Re-Tail later. I think this is the best way and kind of quick.

If you go to the island at night (around 8-9 o'clock) there are super-expensive beetles that you can catch, and some times even a Golden Beetle! There are also more sharks there than at home. You can take home fruit and flowers from the tours and get lots of different kinds of fruit trees and flowers. I don't know if this works in new leaf but it works in the ds- if you buy white turnips and put them on a table, they won't go bad and rot(time change does kill them). Red turnips, if watered every day for a week or two will grow huge and sell for a lot of bells. I hope this helps everyone out.

Cool town that you have ! I would be really curious to see what it looks like an maybe visit it ( but I don't have the game ) . And yes I heard about that bell-generating trick that you do on tortimer island and catch beetles . My friend does that all the time and he has so many bells . Hope I get to see your town

1. Go to the mayor's office and set your town ordance to Bell Boom ( This sells things for a higher price)
2. Pay 1 000 bells to go to the island
3. Talk to the droid to get a net and a fishing rod.
4. Walk around until you see bugs on the trees and catch them on the net. (Golden ones sell for a lot)
5. Walk around until you see sharks or fish and catch them for they sell for a ALOT.
6. After you fill up your inventory, put all your things in the basket.
7. Once you get home, go to the basket and sell all of it in the Retail Store.YOU WILL GET ALOT OF BELLS!!!
8. Put all your money in your bank in the post office.
9. Brag to your friends that you are so rich.

Well the most common and easiest way to make bells is to go to the island at night and make sure to borrow BOTH the Fishing Rod and the Net. You need to get both in case you see a shark while catching beetles. Walk around the island and catch beetles, and usually in half an hour, your storages will be full. Then go sell them at Re Tail.
