Need a character to try

Towns Folk
So I mostly use Charizard and Kirby, butttttttt I'm trying to branch out and try some different ones. So I need suggestions. So tell me your favorites and then Explain why please!
 
Sonic because litterally anyone can use him, Ike because he's my main and fun, Link and Marth for style, and Yoshi because he can aerial and is adorable
 
I'd say try King Dedede because he's heavy like Charizard but has the recovery of Kirby and his Gordo throw is pretty good. You could try Ganondorf because he's a heavy hitter like Charizard with a side special that's similar to Charizard. I also recommend Pit/Dark Pit because they have a similar side special to Charizard and they have multiple jumps like Kirby and all around they are good characters.
 
Mario is the best in this game. His attacks can lead into literally anything, like up air to dair, and more. Mario is a really good character. Try him out.

Pit is pretty fun and not that hard to start using, is specially fun if you like to gimp your opponents of the stage
 
I would recommend cloud as he is a solid sword fighter with decent range his d-tilt is like a longer version of megamans(slides along the ground) and because of his limit he can mould into most play styles although It might be better(at least this is what I do) to watch some matches of each character to see how they play(meaning competitive like on VG bootcamp or the more casual "how to play 101" by alpharad(both of these are youtube channels)) and then try out the characters that you thought would be interesting.

link because he is freaking awesome and because he can create combos and be awesome to use when mastering him(He is better than any character). Luigi because his weird moves make perfect for killing, Luigi is weird. Roy because a strong and fast characters are the best. Finally Bayonetta the combo character, it is a good starting point for combos in my opinion. But really choose what you like, think about what you prefer a fast or slow or off stage fighter.

Lucas/ness are good if you know how to use them (which I know I absolutely don't) and Dr Mario has a little difference between mario that can give you a slight advantage that can help you in battles against more powerful characters. I don't see any Wario Mainers around this site, but he can be real tough in battle with proper strategics.

A well played Toon Link is a thing of beauty

Also, Mewtwo and Ganon (and Toon Link too) are quite hard to learn to play effectively

Easy characters to learn imo

- Mario
- Luigi
- Roy (Easy to learn, but not thaaaaat good)
- Pit/Dark Pit (The arrows with Pit may seem a little tricky to master at the beggining, but worth)
- Fox
- Marth/Lucina (Lucina is much easier to play than Marth, but not as rewarding)
- Falco
- Captain Falcon
- Kirby
- Cloud (not sure about this, I haven't picked up Cloud myself, but what I have heard, its kinda easy to pick up, compared to other top tiers)

I would choose ganondorf his kick are great and cause allot of damage. you can easily trow the other away your opponent. Another two characters i would recommend are meta knight and little mac because the can make allot of combos attack.

Like artisan said pick King Dedede hes bestest character and bestest competitive character on da world, but hes nit for everyone ;( if you dont like him just play jigglypuff if you play kirby your gonna be fine the speed and movement of both is pretty similar
