Need help getting back into competitive

I was a competitive player in xy but then smash came along and it all kind of fell apart. Please don't treat me like a baby in the mechanics of competitive, I know everything from iv's to the type chart. So what do you recommend I do to get back into it, like what mon should I try to build around or anything like that

Yup Smogon can save a live I don't have Smash yet soooo yeah.
You NEED a Mega-Evolution so I remmomend M-Gardevoir because Calm Mind boost+ 165 power Hyper voice can rekt
Technicain Bullet Punch Scizor is awesome too and good for beating Gardevoir
M-Gyrados served well when I didn't was a main mega yet so you could try that.
M-Sharpedo is also good with Speed Boost=Protect then Megaing and rekting with Mega Chomp Crunch and Ice Fang.
Don't forget Stealth Rock, Thunder Wave, Will-O-Wisp, Etc.
Also... try a Klefki!
