Need help w/ Fox & Shiek.

Two of my mains are Fox and Shiek, but in for glory and competitve matches I'm finding it hard to KO with them. Help, pretty please?;)

(I know about Fox's up smash.)
 
we can fight i mained him (fox) for a short time and did competetive so maybe ill show you what ive learned. btw if you want to battle my mains are cap falcon and metha knight. and i cant promisse you im stil good with fox :3
 
I mostly use sheik in for glory if I want a speedy attacker and can dish out combos one after another. If having difficulty koing an opponent try her up special but keep the circle pad left right or down if you're on a platform so you don't end up in the air. And the smoke after the special has small hit box but a better wind box or use the down special spacing and timing is required if you wish to land a hit
 
Sheik can use the first Vanish hit, Up smash, Down smash, and OFF STAGE bouncing fish.

As both are VERY fast, I would, if you have a hard time smash KO-ing, stall until you opponents have relatively higher damage...or just stall long range and dodge/roll/run away...I don't know, I prefer using closer melee types (Little Mac, Ganondorf), I'm sorry
 
His Up-Smash is a good move due to its high knockback scaling, speed, and reach. It is also a powerful vertical killer, his only move that can KO under 100%. His F-Air can add extra height to Fox's jump, and also produces a hovering effect if used shortly after jumping (this usually makes up for his other recovery options). His Back-Air has high horizontal knockback.
 
I main Fox, and I know how hard it is to K.O... Have you tried D-Throwing and then F-Airing off it? And do you use blasters, cause they're really horrible. They barely rack up any damage and by the time you get to 10-15ish, they already landed a hit. I try not to rely of his dash attack too much, cause it gets obvious after a while, but when you do land it, try any aerials, B-airs are harder to use but more effective, but Up-airs and F-airs are also good. Try to catch them off guard when you're standing in front of them by short hopping, n-airing, then fast falling, because it usually hits and can do damage besides just rolling away. Fox's recovery is okay, but with stages with flat sides, always try to wall jump and up-special make the ledge grab more precise, cause the end lag will probably result in you being knocked off again. His side-special is better used in recovering, especially since he doesn't go into a fall state anymore. At high percents, you might even be able to knock your opponent far enough to recover. I guess you can also use his F-throw, dash attack, and f-air combo, but it's kinda hard to do. Never use your reflector for recovering or stalling, the ending lag and start up time increased.
 
just spam with there side specials or jab lock they have pretty good jab locks
 
both are fast characters, and fast characters don't have good K.O. attacks. so the best solution is using long combos, and dodging every attacks. grabbing is a good way to start combos. (trust me, I main greninja and fox ;))

I like Sheik better than Fox, but as pointed out above, they're very fast characters, and I find it difficult to keep up with fast characters (even though I tend to main with Lucina). Sheik's invisible teleport thingie is a pretty good move though.

After playing with fox a bit I figured that his kill moves are his up smash and up air but his down smash are good for working on edges of stages especially if you both keep dodging backwards use it immediately then there a short frame while dodging your vulnerable at. If you're trying to get combos down throw into forward air followed by a down air or down tilt. He can't jump as high as Falco but his Fox fire has a longer duration. But his fox illusion can not launch the enemy downward instead it'll launch them in the air. If they're trying to get back on the stage use the blaster while they're trying I prefer this over falco's since it doesn't disrupts their recovering process. It also builds damage efficiently and when they get back on finish them with a quick smash attack.

What I know about Fox is that Fox has no reliable ko moves just because he is just so fast to use but he has fast and decently powerful moves. But Shiek has a great poking projectile, great fair (great for edgeguards) fast movement and her forward smash is decently strong but it know pretty late. Her up smash is the strongest but is difficult to land her sweetspot.

Fox kills with uair, bair, and smashes but fair is a great approaching tool and dair is great for offstage gimps because it's a long lasting move. Sheik is about needle camping, combos out of down throw, and whatever you do you should not use bouncing fish unless you know you are going to KO with it otherwise it'll go stale and you ran out of good hard to punish kill options. You really have to get characters offstage to win with Sheik but you can KO with the first hit of her up special.

you need lots of combos and control them well. Sheik has lots of grab combos like down air to forward air and bouncing fish
