For: Fairy Tail lovers. Endure the first few episodes and you'll be hooked. Also ones who want something crazy funny. It also has a couple sad scenes and tons of action.
Not for: Picky people who dislike different artstyles. Also people who dont watch long anime.

At first, I watched some One Piece episodes because everybody liked it and I had nothing good to watch. I thought the characters the names were weird, like Luffy? Zoro? The art was horrible I thought, and didn't want to continue. But then I literally was really bored so I just tried it. Then I ignored the names and art and Pirates or whatever and started to enjoy it! I thought they were going to be really mean and rude and kill everybody in their way and lots of innocent people would die by them, but they actually turned out to be great people.

Lain Iwakura appears to be an ordinary girl, with almost no experience with computers. Yet the sudden suicide of a schoolmate, and a number of strange occurrences, conspire to pull Lain into the world of the Wired, where she gradually learns that nothing is what it seems to be... not even Lain herself.

Recommended for: Those who are interested in an anime series with unconventional story telling, mature themes and experimental visuals.

Not recommended for: Anime fans who enjoy action, comedy or romance elements exclusively, Serial Experiments Lain may not be your cup of tea.
