Hello! I need your opinion on a very difficult decision.

Should I restart my game and have fun creating a beautiful town as I've always wanted too.

Or should I keep my town which I can't make beautiful because all of the items for my shop are literally taking over my town. My shop has been very successful over the months it's been up, but the sales are slowly dying down...

So should I restart my town and close my shop once and for all? Or should I keep my town a with all the items and continue selling?

Hers the link to my shop if you'd like to check it out!! http://forum.3dspedia.com/threads/ac-nl-store.22793/

I had hate to tell you to wait on restarting your game, but I think wait till Friday and see if anyone responds to your shop and if no one does go ahead and restart. :p

But if your wanting to restart it sooner do a big sale giving a time limit on great offers up till the time you start over. :D

Ok good idea, I want to sell all my items before I restart for sure!

I know this thread is a little bit old, but hopefully you're still looking for opinions!

I had the game for I think a year and I decided I wanted to reset my town for similar reasons. I didn't like the placement of the permanent buildings and it was really bringing me down, along with my characters face and that some of my favourite villagers had moved away.

After careful thought I did reset and I am so happy that I did.

It was a really great decision for me and it gave me a lot more to do. I mean some bits weren't so fun like trying to re-catch rare bugs and water critters and trying to set up my house the same way... something is still off about that, but! I'm enjoying my time a lot more because my towns layout isn't bothering me. Also my characters face isn't bothering me. :p

I personally had some friends hold onto my harder to find furniture since I'm a hoarder but it's totally up to you on whether or not you sell.

If the town layout is really bothering you I'd say reset - for me the positives outweighed the negatives.

Thanks, this is a perfect example of why I did reset my game. Some of the permanent buildings were just in terrible spots

I recently had to restart my game because my fiance "accidentally" erased my house and I figured if I had to restart I might as well restart the whole town so I could get something with a little better placement of things. After I restarted the game I was much happier with the placement of the buildings in my new town.

I'm guessing you restarted it but, I think you should either way :p

I would say a fresh start is always nice . You can pick a better map that suits your ideas that your going for and make your town look like you want it to. It's good to think of what idea you want to go with and try to build up from there so once your done your town looks as pretty as you imaged it to be . If you want to I'd say go for it . :)

If I was in your situation, I would probably keep my town the way it is, or, as Jeff The Killer said it, at least sell a good chunk of your items. The reason I would not restart because in my opinion there's a little bit more to the game then just selling things. Have you completed your museum yet? Have you gotten a perfect town? These are all goals you could reach for.
