Neighbors Changing Attitudes?

Have you ever had a villager who you adored to move out? Later on down the road, the villager moved back in and they are totally different? Has this ever happened to you?

One of my favorite characters did this one time, and it was super sad to me because she was my best neighbor.

Yess I lost so many that I adored ;_; I haven't had any move back in yet. I didn't think that was possible, is it really? I would be so happy if it was true. I think it did work in ac ww though, if I recall.

Yeah, this has happened to me, I was pretty sad about it, but they visit from time to time to shop and stuff so it's not terrible for me, plus I like the people that took their place anyways. xD

They won't forget you if you have their picture. Other than that, I don't really think there's anything you can do about it.

Neighbors that move out have a chance of moving back in only if you've already had a certain number of other villagers move out since they've left. I want to say its either 12 or 16 people, but I forgot the exact number when I stopped playing as much.

I think it is 12 neighbours at at time, if not 10. But 16 is too much for the 3DS.

That aside, jeremiah has left, and while at first he was still warmed up to me he is now cold when I visit. I couldn't get his portrait. i always answer wrong or simply don't get the sequence.

i had that happen with drago. but when he/she/it moved back it had the same animality. but i did not have its picture so i am not sure why it moved back.

Man having a villager move out sucks in the first place. And if their attitude change sucks too. This only applies to ones u like tho.

I have seen many villagers move out, but those where the ones I really didn't care about. Funny thing is that they never even bothered to return, even when there is about 8 villagers in my Town. I ususally see them in Main Street, either outside or inside a shop. I hope my favorite villager never moves out of my town.

No but seriously, they'll change if you neglected them, they're homesick, or just prefer the other town they were in

Yep, I've had it happen a few times . I think it's normal for them tho to get different personalities as they go and come back to your town but I 'm not 100% sure on it. I never really thought much of it tho considering I do more fishing and stuff and very little with the villagers at times.

Yes, I had a villager named Apollo the Eagle move out and then return a few months later in City Folk, and his personality was completely different. I think it has to do with the way the game assigns personality values to the villagers, as I believe that these values are created when the villager enters the town and then deleted when they leave...

Wait, they can comeback after moving away? That’s never happened to me before, and Ive replayed every title at least ten times each. I had no idea that was even possible. Good to know.
