yeah, ness really gave me some hard times at recovering, but personally my problem with him is his speed, i feel him a bit "TOO SLOW", but that's just me, i know some people that really know how to use him, but still, i never managed to use him properly.Ness. Little Mac is easy to beat if you happen to use literally any character with decent air-game. Ness on the other hand is decent on the ground and great in the air, can use and ABSORB projectiles, and has great killings options with his back throw and his up special, his up special can kill very early. The only problem ness has personally is that I have a hard time using his recovery. Other than that ness wins.
That's true, but in the end it depends on how you play, for any of the two fighters you just need to know how to react to certain moves, how to space your attacks, and most importantly know when to attack.Well Ness is 6th and Little Mac is 48th on the current tier list, knowing that there are 49 people on that list, so that's not so good for Little Mac
Ok, the tier list doesn't really mean something here, so let's look at matchups instead. And lol, what do we see on top of the list ? Little Mac. So the character Ness beats the most easily is Little Mac.
Basically, the only thing that isn't so easy for Ness is to come back on the ground when Little Mac starts hitting, but since it's the same the other way round (it's even easier for Ness since even his dash attack sends completely upwards, and after that you do whatever you want with Little Mac like aerials if he's still stunned, or PK Flash/Thunder if you are afraid of his counter), Little Mac doesn't have an advantage here. And Ness wins everywhere else (for example, Ness has some grabs that send far away, and we all know how bad Little Mac is at coming back on stage).
Well yeah of course, if the one playing Little Mac is a better Smasher than the one playing Ness, he has chances. But with two players with the same skill, Ness wins. That's true, but in the end it depends on how you play, for any of the two fighters you just need to know how to react to certain moves, how to space your attacks, and most importantly know when to attack.
False statement. An experienced LM can gimp any character with nairs and footstool. In an uphill battle, Little Mac would win for sure, but it depends on the skill, if both players can compensate for their weaknesses. But I do believe that Ness would win because since Little Mac's recovery is bad he cannot intercept ness's recovery.
Oh yeah, that broken ol combo! Did Nintendo release a patch for that?! It is soon broken that it make me wanna break something. Good point because I forgot that little Mac players does do that kind of stuff.False statement. An experienced LM can gimp any character with nairs and footstool.
Personally I don't think it needs a patch for that. I haven't even practiced yet that tactic and I find it really hard to pull off, and besides, I think some characters could recover from footstool like Villager.Oh yeah, that broken ol combo!
