The new 3ds will support html5 ,so on the browser might be possble to play games and make things impossible with the actual version. The extra power will help a lot.

The internet is full of html5 games ,will this change everithing or nintendo will block this?

Can you immagine playing retro games with the pad on the 3ds browser for free??would you like it?

Let me know your thoughs !! =)

 if that was real, geez i would be going online a lot :p it will change a bunch, unless Nintendo is being a cheapskate and blocks the games out of fear that their own games won't sell as well. Sadly, it's what i see coming.

Wow that's actually pretty good. I honestly couldn't see myself using it much but the option is quite nice.
But sadly I see it more than likely that somehow Nintendo will stop us from playing those html5 games.

immagine playing 3d games in htm5!!!! how it could be cool??

Unfortunatly i already found that the new 3ds has a security sistem in the browser already active when you buy it.
Let's hope it doesn't block things like this

I need a New 3DS, it sounds totally EPIC!!. That'll be really cool, a lot of people (including me) think the 3DS browser could have been updated better. Sadly, I agree with @Ashkil, not all HTML5 games are "kid appropriate", and I'm sure Nintendo will find a way to obstruct that.

@Redend92 : I think that WebGL (3D HTML5 games) might either be slow, or CPU-intensive. You know, even though these games are made to run on anything, I don't think that making them run on a 3DS might be a great idea. However, I think that 2D HTML5 games will probably be smoother.

@Reece: Do you refer to what Nintendo did with the New3DS' Internet Browser in Japan ? There's still the possibility that Nintendo does it, but I don't think they should do it. The <canvas> (used for HTML5 games/applications) tag is still an element of HTML5, and that would be stupid to give us a wannabe/downgraded HTML5 browser.

But yes, otherwise, it's a nice idea, I like it. Hopefully, the browser will be faster too.

Hmmm, many good points you throw out there my friend. I'm not sure if Nintendo will block out these HTML 5 games or not... I personally believe they won't, because it won't affect there sales that much, but time will tell I guess

I hope that they do not also i hope that when it comes out that the transfer to a pc works at quite a good speed because that would be awesome to be able to do that with your pics/videos.
