A new map is coming soon to Splatoon 2 called New Albacore Hotel. It was revealed at E3 2018.
Apparently, some hackers are forcing lobbies to play it early. If you encounter someone doing this, fire up your app and report them asap so Nintendo can take care of 'em.

I'm liking the look of the new map and I can't wait til the official release of the map. I just wish people would wait and not do this.

Never before have I died to a stage more than to the opposing players: there's so many holes of death across the middle of the map.
It is fun to play on once you get beyond such feats of idiocy, you really risk a bit by pushing forwards because it's hard to do without exposing yourself entirely.
