New Animal Crossing for Wii U confirmed?

So somebody leaked a picture of some new amiibo that had apparently come from a tweet from Nintendo of Europe. These included an 8-bit mario and some Animal Crossing amiibo (Tom Nook, Mabel, Isabelle, and K.K. Slider) This lead me to much speculation about whether we're getting an Animal Crossing Wii U announcement at E3, and I'll stand by my statement. What do you guys think about it?

I need it >.< Animal Crossing Wii U would be awesome. I think nintendo was hinting at it when they were talking about shutting down the Animal Crossing Plaza.

While I'm hoping it's a possibility, I don't want to risk setting my hopes too high; there's a chance they could be for Happy Home Designer. I do believe they'll eventually release a full Animal Crossing game for the WiiU, though – and, seeing how popular amiibos have become – they're bound to make a few upon its release. Which Animal Crossing character would you all like to see made into an amiibo most?

The amiibo could also be for the new 3ds too I mean just for it but it is a good chance that the amiibo will be on wii u too and I am hoping nintendo will make it not for me though I don't like animal crossing much but for others that like it like my brother.

I think everyone would love to get a new AC for wiiu, with marriage and more town options like removing stones....anyways i didnt see the pic but there is a new ac spin off for the 3ds coming maybe thats why there coming new amiibos

actually they are just going to launch Happy Home designer for the 3ds. So, if you want an animal crossing for wii u, you will probably have to wait for a few more years for a wii u version of the game. It's sad, though...

A wii u version can actually come anytime, though, you never know nintendo!

Happy Home Designer Would Probably Be Have Same People with the Same Sound Effects They Make In. But Then Again, We Don't Know If It's On The Wii U Or Not?!

Animal Crossing for the Wii U would be amazing! Maybe they will put in a local multiplayer feature... Think of all of the possibilities with the Gamepad in play!
I can't wait and see what Animal Crossing for the Wii U will bring... Still hoping for a local Multiplayer, though.

Those were the amiibos for Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival right? An AC on Wii U could be fun yes. I'd get this instead of getting the Wii one ._.

I am sure that Nintendo will release an Animal Crossing game on the Wii U eventually, and details might be shown in e3 and probably before the Wii U's lifespan ends. If that does not happen, then it will be moved on to Nintendo NX. Besides, we just got a spin off on the 3ds, so there may be a chance.
