So this game came out a couple days ago and it's... interesting.
If you don't know what the Bloons TD series is, it first started out as a browser flash game and has now just kept on growing. It's one of (if not the) biggest Tower Defense series'.
This new mobile game is free, and it's based in the Adventure Time universe. It contains brand new towers, new abilities, upgrades, the whole base of the game is wildly different, it's mad. However, it being free-to-play comes with 1 downside. The game is very pay-to-win if you don't want to sit grinding out the same level like 50 times (or more). Just to get 3 of the characters that also unlock a couple more levels to play is about £30.
Bloons has never been pay-to-win, even on their free versions of their games. Ninja Kiwi has always been excellent about that. So this game doing this, it's really unusual. There is however an exploit I hilariously found yesterday though which allows you to get one of the premium currencies infinity. However, just playing it now after updating, it seems like they might have attempted to patch it as it's not working 100% of the time.
It's a fun game for the first couple levels, but then the difficulty spikes so incredibly high that then the game just hits a point of, you need to pay unless you only want to do 1 level a day to very slowly grind yourself up to be able to do a couple more levels until you have to grind again.
