Who do you think it will be? Shovel Knight is not going to be in Smash... Sorry! YachtClub deconfirmed it.

This is something you could've just written in the Shoutbox.
 
Technically they didn't deconfirm it but I doubt if he'll come anyway. I'm thinking Banjo-Kazooie, and probably Wolf and Snake because Nintendo is too lazy as hell to work out 3 whole new characters. So far we've only gotten 1 new character and the rest were just returning so yeah. Even thought I don't really want Snake or Wolf, if it is them I'll end up buying them anyway cuz screw me. :wtf:

Going off some a site that was provided in a previous post I read, Nintendo will not be using anyone from the ballot. That means Snake, Wolf, K. Rool, Shantae, Banjo-Kazooie, and any other popular candidates are knocked out of the water. Then again, this site said that the new arrival would have a commercial aired for his/her/its debut by the end of October and I have yet to see it myself.

Yeah I guess you can't always trust the people on here's info. But also heard a new Nintendo direct is coming on the 12th. If so, I'm sure well see some new characters then.
And is it just me or is it kind of douchy for Nintendo to be like "hey yo vote for what character y'all want so we can intentionally not create those characters"

I wouldn't call that douchy, I would call that Sakurai/Kojima-tier of trolling. Those two are known to troll quite a bit, including through this way, so, I'm not surprised from Nintendo to perform such a trick. Or maybe they saw all the "garbage" votes (=troll votes), and decided they couldn't take people seriously. Anyway, tomorrow is the direct, so, I count on you to spoil me who is the newcomer.

You're so right. They are huge trolls. And i guess i wouldn't really take people seriously either so i can't quite blame them. Oh and don't worry, i will ;)
