So today I was talking to my friend on kik and he told me that the DLC stages that come with the villager DLC pack has been revealed. He told me that GameXplain posted videos of Japanese trailers showcasing the new stages. Have a look!

Looking at these new (and retro) stages just gives me a great feeling this DLC pack is going to be loads of fun! I'm really excited to play on Baby Park again to relive some Mario Kart Double Dash memories. Also the Big Blue stage looks beautiful and really fun. The other stages look amazing and entertaining as well. Along with 200CC coming around the corner I'm ready for this DLC pack to come soon!

Baby Park.

Now I have to get over the fact that I've been spoiled by the picture. But hey, it's worth it because you'll always find out eventually. Anyways, I don't even know where to begin, so I'm just going to give my feedback on each track in the order they are shown. xD

  • The Subway track looks like a combination of Sunshine Airport and the underground portion of Piranha Plant Slide. It seems very lively.
  • At first glance, it appears the the Woods Track is going to make really good use of Zero-Gravity. I wonder if the portion of track shown in the thumbnail is what directly proceeds the starting line.
  • I'm somewhat surprised that another F-Zero Track is coming to Mario Kart 8, but then I think about the similarities between the two franchises, then I understand. xD
  • Neo Bowser City is a nice track to me, but I'd say there were better candidates on the Retrospective List.
  • I really like the remastered look of the Ribbon Road track, as it reminds me of Sweet Sweet Canyon. :hungry:
  • Cheese Land is an unusual track to bring back. I hope the mice are still obstacles.
  • I would always go back to Double Dash JUST to race on this track (as well as Wario Colosseum). Racing around and around gave me a really great feeling! I can already imagine the awesomeness of 200cc with this track (especially online). So many good memories, man...

Baby Park.
Baby Park really got me excited. In fact the moment I saw Baby Park on the list I immediately told my friend to buy me a $20 eshop card so I can buy the DLCs.

Wow that's really cool :D I like how the new DLC tracks are some of the old tracks from previous Mario Kart games because those tracks were sometimes the best things ^^

Can't wait for these to come out >.< I bet that they will be super fun to play :)
