the Lucas DLC is one of my favorite DLC
He's my favorite because the last main character I had was ness and ness is practically the same thing as Lucas. When I saw that Lucas was coming out I Burst out hallelujah and started to jump up and down. It made me more exited when I saw the trailer called Lucas comes out of know where the only thing that made me stop is that it was coming out in July. But when it came I bought him and played him till I mastered him. I can't wait for more DLC and can't believe I can share my thoughts with this website... Love Bryce0105

I would say Lucas is more of a semi- clone than full clone. Because they are similar in specials, but have completely different A attacks and Smash attacks besides F Smash. I love Lucas' bair.

Agreed: Lucas is to Ness what Ganondorf is to Falcon. Fundamentally they're pretty identical, but the slight-or-not-so-slight changes to the base idea of the character gives them such a radically different playstyle they barely even seem like clones.
Doing well with Lucas requires a totally different playstyle than doing well with Ness, kind of like how Ganondorf is a reactionary, read-based character and Falcon is a stylish rushdown character.
Lucas is great. I gotta spend more time with him. Mained him in Brawl, but he hasn't really clicked in 4 for me yet.
