Itoi is the creator of the Mother series. Nintendo just edited it and published it.

If not there's always fangames like Mother 4 that is coming out soon so it is not a matter of will it's a matter of who. Sakurai came up with the roster before he did anything else so he didn't answer fan requests at all. In fact he put in characters like Dark Pit and Dr. Mario and people couldn't believe the leak was true because of it. It is very unlikely but the only thing we have left to do is wait for all the Mother games to be on VC (Mother for 3DS and Mother 3 for Wii U).

Noooooo! I guess it'll still be fun replaying them for 3DS....(or find the games on emulator!)
