Support Needed New Nintendo 3DS (N3DS) Camera Not Working Issue

So, for some reason my camera on my new 3DS XL is not working. Everytime I physically go to the Camera app, or press L+R, it shows an error telling me to restart the system. Using the camera for games freezes the game for a bit and then cancels out the camera. First noticed this trying to open an AR reader for Tomodachi Life.

Also, the face-tracking 3D and the auto-brightness settings are not responding at all.

I bought the system roughly a month ago, not sure what's going on here. Hmmm...

Check for system updates. If this isn't the case, feel free to contact Nintendo I'm almost positive they can help

Sounds strange. A friend of mine said her 3DS camera doesn't work either. Mines doesn't work either but that's because I accidentally poured a bucket of water on it. However, the inner camera still works perfectly, My friend didn't tell me if her camera worked again but her 3DS was probably definitely up to date.
