New or 2nd hand games?

I prefer 2nd hand games. They're a lot more affordable. New games lose their value quickly because when you go to trade them in after a little while, the buying price drops quite a bit (depends though). Not to mention there's a huge collection of 2nd hand games to choose from.

I buy whichever, to be honest. If there is a 2nd hand copy of the game in stock, I'll get it, but if not I'll just get the new one (providing I do actually want it, haha).

I don't like buying 2nd hand games as I like to have the games newly bought plus it's hard to find pre-owned games for newly released titles

I only buy new. I don't trust used games, plus I like to know that I'm the only one who has owned the copy of the games I have.
