New Pokemon idea: Breed different types of Pokemon together for a single Pokemon with stats of both?

I think this is a good idea to be implemented into Pokemon X/Y because you would get stronger pokemon, but it should be something that requires a lot of effort, like winning 10 consecutive Competitive battles in a row, or by paying a lot of ingame Pokemoney.
Do you agree? Let me know if you think it is good idea.

In a sense this kind of system is already in there with IV breeding. The Destiny Knot allows to pass 5 of the IVs from each of the parents and the Everstone passes down Nature.

Breeding is already improved. It's so much easier to get 5 IV pokemon (perhaps even 6 IV) than it was in previous gens. I don't think it needs to be improved further
