Recently,Amazon has revealed a new special package of Super Smash Bros for Wii U,which is rumored to release on November 21st,both the stand-alone version and the special edition. The box contains a Smash themed GameCube controller, named the Smash Bros. Edition,a GameCube controller adapter and,of course,a copy of the game, and even though the box shows an amiibo logo,it doesn't come with one,and the package will come with a price of 99 dollars.

Hopefully, this will also come to other regions outside of America, like Europe and Japan. So,what are your thoughts, and are you pretending to buy it?

I won't buy it, since I don't have a Wii U, but if I do get one, I might consider it, and I'm sure it'll sell well. The normal Gamecube controller (for Wii U) stands at $29.99, while the adapter stands at $19.99 so I don't see where you'd go wrong with this bundle. Collectors, and avid Super Smash Bros. players would definitely get it. I think it'll be released for regions outside of America (well, at least I hope so).

I won't buy it, since I'm still not sure about if I'll get the WiiU version of SSB4 (since I'm planning to buy a WiiU), but I do love the bundled GC controller's design.

Sad that the 3DS version won't get an adapter for this. Because I just don't want to spend 90€ and send my 3DS to an unknown person who could brick/steal it.

99 bucks? That sounds like a steal.... Maybe. I was thinking it would come with a Wii U though since that's what the Smash fans would want in it as there has never been any other game that even comes close to the quality of SSB4 on the Wii U. The box seems a little misleading because of the size (then again it's just a picture of it and not dimensions).
