Which one do you like better? New Super Mario Bros.2 or New Super Mario Bros.U? I personally like Mario bros U because it has yoshi in it, a new powerup, and I really like the challenge mode!

I like NSMBU because I can play as my Mii, I just wish they kept working on New Super Mario Bros. Mii, and we'd be able to wear overalls with the Mii's shirt color.
 
Well that was a demo to showcase what the wii u was capable of, just like how Luigi's mansion was just a tech demo before being turned into full game to showcase the power of the GameCube.

New Super Mario Bros. Mii is nothing but the showcasing of a tech demo, they did keep working on it and turned it into Mario Bros. U. Tech demos like that one never stop being developed, they just turn into different games.
 
New Super Mario Bros 2 was somewhat of a disappointment to me. It looked nice and played well but there was just something missing. I think the lack of a versus mode both locally and online sort was a letdown. The main game was too easy and only takes a few hours. Coin rush gets boring after a while and I never had anyone to play co-op with anyways. I don't have NSMBU, but it definitely looks better and overall seems more polished. After all, NSMB2 was developed by the younger, less experienced developers while NSMBU was made by veterans (read this somewhere long time ago).
 
NSMBU is better. It has HD visuals, and is a longer game. Multiplayer is superior too - try playing it with 5 people!
 
I have always wanted to try New Super Mario Bros 2 for 3DS, The game looks fun, and the new gold Mario looks awesome. I just have not had a chance to play it, I finally got to try my first NSMB with the Wii U version, and I like it a lot.

I have New Super Mario Bros 2, and that's the kind of mindset I had before I bought it. I though it would be cool to play as Golden Fire Flower and the game's graphics already looked great. However, after playing it, I was a bit unsatisfied with the overall experience since it didn't really feel all too different fro the original NSMB on the DS. Coin Rush is pretty fun though even without any of the DLC packs (although it may become repetitive). I would still recommend buying the game though since it's the best platformer for the 3DS, and my choice is not necessarily the same as yours.

New Super Mario Bros U is really good, i love to troll my friends with the game pad just to trap them with my platforms. :rotfl: the levels are fun and challenging especially the extra levels, and since they added New Super Luigi U, it got a bit more replay value for me, the levels are more harder since i have to beat levels in 100 seconds.

I don't necessarily agree with either of them being "good", but out of the two I would pick NSMB2. Instead of just copying what NSMB and NSMBW had already done like NSMBU, NSMB2 tried to innovate with the whole coin mechanic. Wasn't terrible either.

NSMBU is a prime example of where they went wrong with the Wii U launch.

I like new super mario bros u because of the improve graphics, the better gameplay, and. Of course, nabbit! It also has new super luigi u, which was a huge hit in my book. It has new power ups, new levels, new enemies, everything to denote that it is new compared to the older ones. It is an excellent game to add to the fanchise and should be considered great for many exciting years to come. This game is one of nintendo s best games ever and should be considered as such for the sale of gamers everywhere.

I hink that new super mario bros u is better. New super mario bros 2 was way too short and wanted more out of the game. There was only like two new power ups in mario bros 2. In U, the graphics are much better. It also has better and more detailed levels. The game had more tbought put into it.

I think that New Super Mario Bros. U is better. Since it is on a home console, and not a portable, it can withstand more. It looks like Super Mario. U has better courses and more levels after you beat the game (post play). I'm not saying that the Mario games on 3DS sucks, since they are also good, but the 3DS has a hard time packing things into a cartridge.

I think Wii version is better since you get the multiplayer. They're not the same, they have different levels, so if wanted to get one and then the other later would still be fun. I enjoy them all, they're addicting. Even the DS and the two Wii U versions are great fun. New Super Mario Bros U is good and challenging too. The overworld map is much better, The levels are better. The Star Coins are more fun to collect.
