ever played this game? what are your thoughts? did it do really well?

It's definitely the best of the New Super Mario Bros series. I got way more of a feel like it was Super Mario World (which is great), the levels were really creative, the whole thing was pretty, and the challenge levels and time trials were pretty fun too.

I purchased the Mario and Luigi U bundle when I got my Wii U, so it was the first Wii U game I played other than Wii Sports Club. I have to say, even though I unfortunately don't have too much patience for level games such as this one, I really did like it. The levels looked very nice, the music was catchy, and the boss battles were pretty fun. Plus, Tanooki Mario looked adorable, as always!
