New Super Mario Bros. Wii (The Run Button)

I owned this game a long time ago playing with my sister on it, and as we went past the world I was always left behind because I never knew how to use the run button. 1 has been one of the most useful things I ever needed in this game, because I always died on singleplayer, (I was much younger at the time lol.) The run button has some interesting thought into it, so it had helped me/killed me various times: One day, I was playing with my sister on mario wii and went up to the boss. I ran and ran around doing nothing but she picked me up and threw me in the lava because I wasn't helping at all, but I FREAKING managed to get out before I burnt into ashes. Oh my gosh, my favorite thing ever that happened in mario game was when my brother used toad in mario 3d world and ran ahead of everyone else so that he could get to the flagpole first. He was laughing all the way while me and my brother in law suffered through ten levels with him before we just rage quit. We said that we would play with him again if he stopped running, but to this day toad is still a famous track runner for the mushroom kingdom and is planning to go to the 2016 trollolympics in rio de trollio.

In super mario 3d world, give toad a cat suit and you basically have a new incarnation of Sonic. Great for speedrunning, although it becomes a hassle trying to control the speed sometimes xD. The run button while in cat form does a scratch attack, and it would hit anything in front of toad, so I would always speedrun through levels with ease because of the space it can clear up.
