It's almost here!!! The next batch of new characters for Smash Bros. is just around the corner! I bet you're excited, huh? :3 ( Even if you aren't, I am, lol. :p ) So, we do have some pretty good candidates for Smash, like Shovel Knight, Shantae, and another vote, the Inklings. :eek: As well as bringing back some veterans like Snake, Wolf, Pichu, and Young Link. I've been looking around a bit of the Nintendo news, and the two characters I mentioned first seems to have a pretty good possibility of getting in, wouldn't you say? :0 Oof, do you think we'll have enough for money them? :hilarious: If not, time to burn the midnight oil for a bit more cash! (Or beg. .-. ) Anyhoo, what characters did you vote for to get in? Do you think they have a chance?
 
I voted for Bandana Dee, guess it looks like he won't get in........but I'll still hope! I just want him in so desperately!

The only veteran l voted for was Snake. I find him one of my favorite, most fun characters to beat up lol, he's also one of my brother's main.

Bandana Dee for life though. I will keep on believing. Only if he's confirmed, my Smash request and life is complete...100% complete...☆

There's a lot of characters that I want but it wouldn't matter if the new and next DLC character be one coming back or a totally new one (or both :eek: ). I still haven't changed my vote for 'Inkling' since day one the Smash ballot was out nor do I plan to change it either :p

I also can't wait to see the entire statistics of votes, if there's gonna be :thumbsup:

@Mira: Was Bandana Dee on Rainbow Curse? I think I remember seeing him on Game Grumps if he was. :cat: That spear was pretty cool! It'd make for a good weapon on Smash! :D

@Bearidan :Same! I wanna see all the votes after this is all said and done, if Nintendo will display them! Also, I wouldn't mind if a select few came back, just not all of em'. Some of the characters were a bit hanky. :oops: For me, anyway. :p. Gosh, I wonder how much the prices are gonna be??

Hopefully not too expensive xD I still haven't gotten any of the current DLC characters at all :facepalm: I was hoping I could get all in a sort of bundle :p

Same here. XD And I REALLY wanted Lucas, Mewtwo, and Roy! I can wait for Ryu. :p But if it's somewhere near $4.99, I can maybe get one new character, but that'll be it. ;-;

I agree! I always thought he would be a great character for smash! Oh, and l don't know have Rainbow Curse yet, but l do know that he's in the game. He's also in Kirby's Return to Dreamland as a playable character like RC, and Super Star Ultra as an enemy. :p What characters did you voted for?
 
Personally I voted for shovel knight because he is my favorite character but I was really considering snake which was just to bring him back from SSB Brawl. I thought he was very fun in smash and I just thought he should be brought back into the SSB Series. In the post you were talking about the inklings as a vote and i have never heard of this probably because I haven't been checking out new news about the smash ballot because I was at summer camp and in Europe for the whole summer. But I might have picked the inklings. Also I don't think the inklings were out when the smash ballot was released but i wouldn't remember, I have a terrible memory.

@Mira: Well, since you can only vote once per person, I voted for Inklings. :p I was still hyped for Splatoon, lol. When I saw all the cool guns and paintbrushes, I figured there had to be lots of combinations for new attacks, right? Plus, they had Amiibos already! :D.

@thecoolkid55 :Yup, I voted Inklings. As I said before, that was all that was on my mind as new characters for Smash at the time. :p Also, I know Ryu's already put. I'm just not in a hurry to get him, or his stage. :D I wanna wait for the other characters to be announced in October. :p

Snake- I would definitely welcome his return.
Wolf- Or as I like to call him "The Third Clone of the Star Fox Representative Trio". I like the dude but I don't feel like he really needs to be included.
Young Link- Isn't that what Toon Link is there for?
Shovel Knight- I don't know much about the game, but if his moveset perfectly goes with his counterpart from the game, sure.
Shantae and Inklings- Meh.

I'm really hoping for Shovel Knight. I personally haven't played his game, but I've seen plenty of gameplay. Also a perfect use for the Shovel Knight amiibo, I mean come on, its already made, just make it Smash compatible, as in add Shovel Knight. Regardless of what happens, I fully support Mr. Sakurai and the development team on their decision to create whoever they choose to.

Yea as I said I voted for Shovel Knight but I personally have never played it but I think he is worthy of winning the smash ballot.

Exactly, plus I hate to see the team being pretty much insulted whenever leaks are made, it probably damaged their motivation at least a bit in the past.

Agreed, plus you know at least a few hundred ballot votes are troll votes, like voting for Shrek or something, Shovel Might makes since to me at least

Ikr? I can just imagine being in Mr. Sakurai's shoes, and having people come at me with being completely unreasonable. It's probably why everything takes so long. ;-; Real sorry for him..

All of that effort just to ruin the hype they work so hard to create, I think the title of the Shulk reveal trailer is a hint to this
