The WayForward director closed his post by saying to NintendoAmerica: "See you in Smash," fueling the rumors that Shantae might be included in SSB4 via DLC.

Wayforward was also asking people on twitter what do you think Shantae's reveal would be?

I for one wouldn't want Shantae in the smash games because I feel she would be such a boring person to play. I'm guessing that even if Smash decides to put Shantae into the game all of her moves might feel too repetitive. With her hair whip. I also think that it'll be a little too wierd because she uses her hair to fight. If smash rally wanted more female characters I think they would search for more female-based games. Then again its probably not their choice, its depends on the fighter ballot and people who vote.

Why tag Nintendo of America? Why not Sakurai? He's the one directing the game. Not Reggie.

Also, unless the maker of Shantae was allowed to look at Smash Ballot votes, the maker of Shantae probably wouldn't know.

You think SHANTAE would be weird in Smash? Well, how do you explain Ganondorf being a Falcon clone for 3 games while he has unique attacks in the Zelda games. And where did Luigi's side B come from? And the weirdest of all is R.O.B! He didn't even originate as a video game character!

He was an NES accessory when Nintendo tried to release it in the U.S. R.O.B. was included because so people will think they're buying a toy because people wouldn't buy video game consoles in the video game crash of 1983. In Japan, he is simply called Robot.
