Next generation ?

What will be the next Pokemon generation ?
Will it be an other remake like ORAS or maybe a new edition like X and y ?
On Google I reed some rumours about plus and minus but there aren´t any infrmations about it ... so ... is it true and if it is trus when is the release in EU ?
I hope the new Pokemon will be cool because I finished all of my Pokemon games zwice and it gets boring

Plus and minus is just a roumour. I think first they will release another Gen 6 game (something like Pokemon Z) and then they will come out with Gen 7 in Late 2016 or 2017.

Surely, They will start with a new edition and then maybe there will be a Sinnoh remake.

I also like X and Alpha Saphire bu I think Platinum is the best

A lot of people, myself included, are expecting it to be Pokemon Z. I wouldn't be surprised, though, if they threw us a curveball because of the anniversary.

The next Pokemon game could be a remake of Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl, as Sinnoh is the only region that hasn't had a remake besides Kalos (I don't understand why they would make a remake of Pokemon X and Pokemon Y so close to its initial release). However, Pokemon Z does seem likely as a sequel to Pokemon X and Pokemon Y (Like Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2), but why is it that there is no Pokemon game for 2015 and that Nintendo, as far as I know, haven't even mentioned a new Pokemon game at all?
Please correct me if I am wrong and Nintendo have spoken about a new Pokemon game.

Well technically they have spoken about & are releasing new Pokemon games, but they are spinoffs not made by gamefreak.

I think we'll get a new region with gen 7, and then maybe diamond/pearl remakes after.

This might be a stretch, but I always wanted a region base on africa. Like have the region with wide open savannas where you could ride on your pokemon's back in larger area than the little skiddo ranch in x/y. (I really liked the latios/latias flight in oras tho, they HAVE to bring that back)

It wouldn't make sense to have a Sinnoh remake because they already gave you the means to get Uxie, Azelf, Mesprit, Cresselia, Regigigas, Heatran, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina through the Mirage Spots. Almost all of the Sinnoh legendaries. But if they did I think they should only do a Platinum remake and not Diamond or Pearl remakes. I'm hoping for a console Pokemon game. And not a spin off, but a "true" mainline Pokemon game on a console. Probably not gonna happen but I can dream.

I believe that they will make a Sinnoh remake in this Gen, as there is still some room for games. We know for sure that Pokemon X and Y are getting a sequel almost certainly next year (around summer), so they won't be releasing Diamond/Pearl remakes at all, so if they do make a Sinnoh remake, it's definitely going to be Platinum! As for the flight system mentioned by @Retto, I think it would be MUCH better to have the actual one from Guardian Signs, which is the one that served as a base for the one in ΩR/AS. The one I'm talking about allows you to use ANY Pokemon capable of flight while carrying weight to be used, not just Latios/Latias! Imagine flying on a Shiny Mega Rayquaza for example! Wouldn't that be cooler? As for a 7th Gen, personally, I think that would be a bad idea. There are already enough Pokemon as is, but we should just get a few more megas (Dragonite, Darkrai, all the Starters w/o megas already, Flygon, Golem, Gigalith, Skarmory, Roserade, Cryogonal, Swellow, Arcanine, etc.) and a few more evolutions to boost some weaker Pokemon (Sunflora, Pelipper, Magcargo, Lumineon, Corsola, perhaps some more Eevolutions, etc.). There isn't any need to make an entire new Gen, since the entire franchise seems to have been dragging out for too long. All things need to end at some point, no matter how popular or grossing they are. 6 Gens are plenty and it may really be the end of the series if a 7th one comes out, as it would be extremely risky!
