Next mario kart 8 dlc?

So I was always wondering when a new dlc is going to come out. Smash bros just had a new dlc. Did they forget about it or something? But I really hope some of the character from mario kart Wii came back like diddy kong or bowser jr. We have the koopalings but not bowser jr. I just think it's weird how they got rid of most of the senseable characters...

I don't think that Mario Kart 8 is getting any more DLC. If it were to, however, I would like to see maybe a Kirby addition to the game that would include Kirby, Meta Knight, King DeDeDe, and Waddle Dee as playable racers, a Kirby-themed track of some kind, and some additional tracks from previous Mario Kart games.
