I experienced more disturbing things this year than I have in years... It has caused nightmares or
directly effected me while conscious. Before I never had nightmares based on what I seen or experienced
but now the effects happen ALOT faster than it originally had. What have you seen
or went through that directly affected you?

The thought of me getting in a car in a couple of years and being able to drive

I thought like that... Don't be afraid: there's people that might need you, and wouldn't be able to help because you don't know how to drive. I can't help my family much now, because I was too afraid to go forward with it.

There's things that have. I have never watched horror movies and never will as I will definitely have nightmares from those. However I did having trouble following asleep after a doctor who episode (two to be specific it was a two-parter). In it the doctor went against the weeping angels. The weeping angles, are to me, the creepiest aliens on the show. How they work is whenever you look at them they turn to stone. That's why they look like they are crying, they don't want to look at each other and be trapped staring at each other for all eternity. Anyway as soon as you look away, even as you blink they move. So they'd mess with lights and have the lights flash on and off while the angels crept up on them as soon as the lights turned off. I couldn't sleep that night. Because I kept thinking there were angels around me. So eventually I turned the light on to come myself down, and then went to bed with the light on to make sure there were no angels around me. So that's my experience

If you want to watch the episodes, the names in which they are the main aliens are:

Blink + Time of the Angles/Flesh and Stone + The Angels take Manhattan

Here's a clip to show you what I'm talking about. This is from the end of Blink, in my opinion the least scary one of them (with the two-parter being the scariest) to show you guys what I'm talking about. I know it's not the best quality I'm sorry not my video.

I'll find the video on youtube: someone murdered it.
I can't imagine how angels would be scary... but I'm curious how this'll be fuel...
Turning into stone is freaky, but that scares me mire than the actual being! (I'm
glad there's nothing that can actually do that... especially if you're alive the entire time!)

@Kakea The idea itself isn't scary but I would say how it is implemented is. Also I figured out you can get it if you go watch it on youtube.

Ah... the way it's implemented, is much more important. Myer and my siblings are all afraid (somewhat) of puppets
because of how their introduced in some... media

Okay. Like I said the way it's implemented is much more important and for the scariness and the creepiness is done much better in the other two episodes. In the two-parter it's a lot of the angels chasing them, so messing with lights as the angels go after them type of thing and the Angels Take Manhattan is messing with more the angel's power to send people back in time. The opening scene of the angels take manhattan is a detective meeting the old version of himself after the angels send him back in time. The old version than tells the younger version to run, and it shows the younger version get captured by them.

Essentially: Guy finds future self after angels sent him back in time. He then try's to escape it but can't.

A more of a dooming feeling/fear than immediately scary!
Like when you feel like something's watching... but if there WAS someone
there...
