I believe the President of Ubisoft was one of the people who challenged Reggie. I'm glad he did it, I think the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is a great way to spread awareness for the ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) disease. I read on a blog somewhere that it raised around $100M so far, so that's pretty good. Well done Reggie .

It really should be no surprise as big as the movement is and how many people who want to support it as it is a good cause. It is a prime example of how great social media can be.

I'm extremely impressed by how far it's gone. Even if only half the people who do it actually know what it's for, that's a huge amount of awareness, and hopefully money, raised.

The ALS ice bucket challenge is the best awareness-raising-fundraising campaign I've ever heard of. Seemingly every person of note has taken it. I hope that with the huge amount of money it's raised, they'll be able to find something that can at control the disease if not cure it completely.
