not sure what "Partners Showcase" means. I'm pretty sure it's about 3rd party games and 3rd party publishers. There will also be announcements/details about a handful of previously announced nintendo games. My money is on more Bakugan: Champions of Vestoria news.
What do y'all think about this Nintendo Direct mini?

YASS!! So updates on previously announced games MIGHT refer to breath of the wild 2, metroid or pikmin. It says "from our development" so im guessing we get some first party news too. im super excited.

It’s a partner showcase, so no new Mario or other Nintendo franchises. It might include info on the New Horizons August update though.

“Previously-announced” could mean anything, but it certainly seems like they are making a particular effort to word it in such a way to temper all the speculation running rampant in the past few days.

Pretty sure it's not going to have any SMT news.

I'm guessing we'll get some news about that Zelda BOTW 2 game and maybe even the upcoming Bravely Default. I haven't been keeping up with the Directs to say how confident I am in them including Animal Crossing update info.

I'm also not sure what to expect for anything third-party.

I feel like announcements about updates won't be in the direct, I think the Animal Crossing update will be talked about in a separate video next week

Now that I think about it, past updates were announced through social media videos. So unless they want to announce some kind of bigger update, or (dare I say it) paid DLC, I wouldn’t expect any New Horizons news being part of the direct.

I was not expecting a SMT 3 remaster. Don't know how to feel about the addition of voices, but I'll get used to it. I saw Raidou, so looks like no Dante. Aaaand at last some SMT V after a 2 year silence. From the teaser alone, looks like it's going to be darker than Apocalypse? I hope there'll be more info at the next direct. That simultaneous release means we won't have to wait months for localisation
