Hello!

I recently tried to buy a game on the nintendo eshop (KI: uprising) and I used a friend's credit card, with his permission ofc, but it did not work. We tried again and again with another card but it didn't seem to work. but after a while, we realised that he was charged for each time. What do I do?

We purchased the game on the online website (logging into my nintendo ID) and the 3DS itself as well. The charges were billed to different things we were confused on that.

In addition... I still don't have the game .

I'm sorry if this is not in the correct section but I was unsure of where to put it

Maybe you should ask Nintendo about that . They would provide a more efficient answer . It could be the type of Credit Card that you are using . Another method I would better prefer if contacting Nintendo doesn't work is go to an online site that sells Prepaid Card Codes digitally . I know of a site that I trust so you can PM if you want to do it with that site , it is more efficient . It might costly slightly more though :/

What do you mean by " It didn't work "

What was the error message?

You were getting an error saying something like you haven't entered your details correctly, right? If you're using a credit card that isn't tied to the same region you have your Nintendo Network ID set to, then that'll happen. I wrote about it here - http://3dspedia.com/nintendo-eshop-...-error-but-nintendo-charged-creditdebit-card/

I heard the Canada eShop is an exception, however I'm not sure.

Nintendo will refund the money in XX days btw.

I don't remember the message exactly but it was something like "the payment could not be processed" or something with the card.

From what I asked my friend, the card was an American card so it should have work. Bank of America actually (not sure how much it has to do with it) I tried to call nintendo but its nearly 12AM here so it utterly failed. I plan to call them tomorrow but for now, I just hope it works.

Contact Nintendo's online support, don't use the eShop in the meantime and try to collect evidence. (A screenshot of the error if you didn't remove it; a screenshot of your home without the game, you transaction list, etc.)

Thanks for all the replies. I contacted Nintendo earlier this morning and they said that none of them have been charged and should 'bounce back' in a few days depending on the bank.
