Nintendo Switch 6.0 Firmware Update Leaked by Dataminer

The info was uploaded to Nintendo's servers and a dataminer has leaked the new stuff that we'll eventually find in the 6.0 firmware update for the Nintendo Switch console.

• Nintendo Switch Online subscription support ("More Games. More Features. More Fun." slogan)
• Save data backup support
• New Toad icons from Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker:

• New controller icons for Famicom, NES and SNES/SFC
• Better stability (of course, lol)

They should of have added some new Super Mario Party,Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee, and Super Smash bros 5 icons.

The new Captain Toad icons looks pretty good, and I hope capability to backup save data wouldn't be only for those who purchase Nintendo's online service, but I think it's a good step for Ninty to prepare before the online service is ready.

On other note, I'm also waiting for full Chinese language support in home menu UI, and given that Nintendo Hongkong has shown some images that has Chinese names in Smash Bros. Ultimate's tourney (which may indicate that I can type Chinese texts), I hope this update would be the one to include it for the first time.

i would like fire emblem icons (but not just awakening or fates icons please)

the update itself doesnt seem to be very much, but still we need a direct because there are things about the online service we dont know

I'm excited about the new icons, they look cool. But I would rather have a Smash ball icon for myself. Honestly this update needed to happen sooner rather then later given that Nintendo Switch online is starting like soon (this month? I forget when). Hopefully the servers won't be trash.

I can't help being so eager for Nintendo Switch Online to finally arrive especilly because of 1) save data support and 2)more onlne stability, please!!

I quite like the online subscription slogan. It's simple and catchy. I'm intrigued by the features that are to come with membership, Maybe we can get discounts on titles (digital/physical) or official Nintendo accessories. I just hope they fix the damn servers though. There's been enough complaints of dc's in Splatoon 2. Maybe the money can go towards better ones.

As for the Toad icons, they're adorable! Might use one sometime, Although I haven't played that specific game myself at all. xD
