No DLC, but what about updates

So as we all know, the last three fighters are going to be the last DLC for Smash. But, just because it's the last DLC, doesn't mean that their won't be any updates. So it could be possible that they might drop an update on us, and what better time to do so then on Christmas day. Then again, there's the possibility that this is the last we'll hear from Smash, but somehow I kind of doubt it.

A new update doesn't alwaysmean new features though. Sure they will update the game, but it might be just for bug fix, and at this point, probably the bug has to be quite big for them to patch it.

It could be for some tweaks too on the new characters, for balancing.

Of course, there will be an update so they can add the data for Bayonetta, Corrin, the stages, and the Mii Fighter costumes that will be available for purchase in February. And everything rawrrie said about the new characters needing to be balanced and bug fixes.

They'll be a couple more updates. I would see an update in the near future to balance Cloud out. When Bayonetta and Corrin release, there will be an update for the game. Then there may be a couple more updates after that, because of balancing and bug fixes. Updates =/= new content, although sometimes that statement can be false.

I feel like there would be new content even after the last DLC characters and other stuff because there's a possibility that they will add in custom moves for the DLC characters. We never saw the custom moves for the 4 DLC characters so far, so we don't know for sure if there is even going to be any custom moves. However, I have a good feeling that there will be some.

Updates might still be something for the next few months after all the DLC has been released. It may be patches of bugs and glitches and especially balances until they see it fit to wrap up the game finally in their own preferences. Knowing Smash4 is one of the biggest games right now, the last bits of updates will be prioritized on this game imo.

Nintendo might fix bugs within a character if found by others just like they did with mewtwo , but the end of DLC and future news for the coming slowly coming to an end is a shame.
