No one smashes for fun these days...

(I might be the only one who has this problem but) Everytime I try smashing online in for fun mode no one's there. Is there really no one smashing on the for fun mode? or is it only on my end?

For fun is not really the most appealing mode. All items on. Completely random stages. No 1v1. It's better to play with friends either online or local if you want a fun gameplay experience shaped to your liking. For glory gets a lot of attention because of the 1v1 mode.

My problem is not that people aren't playing For Fun anymore, as I manage to find people rather quickly, but rather that going there, I can't find taunt parties, which is something I usually go to For Fun for. Although, it seems like every since I went back to For Glory, For Fun hasn't been my thing.

Taunt parties are quite abundant for me for some reason (@Elchronic Maelstrom ) I always find a lot of people to play with unless I play at an inconvenient time such as late at night or just somehow unlucky xD Maybe you've been just playing at inconvenient times I most likely think.

I usually go to For Fun mode for taunt parties, sometimes fight, but whenever l do actually want to smash, l mainly go to team battles on both for fun and for glory(I fight in For Glory's team battle more) or, 1v1. I think the For Glory > Smash is really dead. It's always empty when l go there.

The game lags for me online, so I try to stick with 1v1 in competitive.
Plus I don't now anyone around me the would want to play from a closer range than in the next state.

So true. Whenever i go on spectate for fun, the fighters have brutal k.o.'s. Like jumping on top of someone to k.o. them. It's just savage.

I get lag when I'm in the larger rooms, and I feel like that makes it unfun. That's why I just stick with 1v1 For Glory unless I'm playing with a few friends.

last time i had to wait 2 minutes before we had 4 players but otherwise never had any problems here, well for the bit off lag that you get, but thats off topic.
