I can see why players wanted him in the game, but I have never been really crazy about having him there. Sure, he would be cool to play as, but I wasnt desperate. But i feel sorry for thee Ridley fanboys that wished to have him in the game since super smash bros meelee was out.

Not really disappointing to me. I'm fine with him being a part of one of the stages .-. and yeah, I think he's too large to be a playable character. Then again, maybe my vote doesn't count since Smash for 3DS and Wii U are my first "real" smash games.

Although im not a fanboy, I feel like saying that he is too big to be in smash is actually not true. It is true that if he joined, he would be the biggest character, but Bowser are much bigger in the Mario games that he is in the smash games, and Olimar is also smaller in the pikmin games.

Not really that bothered, because why would a huge creature like that even be considered as a playable character? :p

if there was a mini version of Ridley, then perhaps that could work out. .-.

Oh boy. This is going to cause major controversy within the Ridley fanboys community. Now to wait what illogical stuff they're going to create to think that Ridley will actually be playable in this instalment as DLC(No offense, though).
Anyways,I was never really asking for him anyways, and the only reason why I kind of wanted him is because,if he was in,the fanboys would finally stop with the constant requests of Ridley for Smash.Although,I guess you can kinda consider him as a "fighter" in the Pyrosphere stage from the Wii U version. :bear:

Ridleys too small to be in smash.

(But seriously, aren't kirby and olimar the size of pennies, and isn't bowser huge? They fixed THAT, so they could fix ridley!)
