Hey Guys. There has been some Weird Pokemon Types. So let's see some of them.

1. Lugia

What is Lugia's Weird Typing? Psychic. Well Why is Lugia's Psychic Type Nonsence? Well we have many reasons. Lugia is Known as "The Diving Pokemon", it is the Guardian of The Sea, The Pokedex Entries shows way more proof that Lugia should be a Water Type and Lugia is diving in the sea at the Pokemon Silver and SoulSilver intros! Why isn't Lugia Water Type! Ho-Oh is Fire so Lugia is Psychic... It should've been Water -_-

2. Palkia
Now Dialga's types make a lot of sense but Palkia... not really... The Water type does not make sense. I mean Water for a Spatial Pokemon does not make sense. Psychic would be a bit better. Palkia's Water Type doesn't fit well. Just doesn't.

What are some of your weird Pokemon Typings? Comment in the Comments below!

The three dragon legends from Gen 4 also allegedly represent states of matter, with Dialga's steel representing solid, Palkia's water representing liquid, and Giratina's ghost representing gas. I have no idea if that is official or just another fan theory, but just putting it out there.
There you go. Also Lugia uses telepathy to talk to humans and it would cripple lugia to be water/flying because he would have a 4X weakness electric which is an extremely common type.

I think that all Pokemon have a good reasoning for their types :p For instance, Lugia doesn't really have any physical features to show much of a Water type and Psychic/Flying is a really unique typing. Wouldn't really need a Water/Flying because there's other Pokemon which that type making it kinda boring.

I never really found Palkia's typing to anything weird. After all, Pkmn Pearl Version kinda convinced me enough :p

But the most nonsense type to me is Drapion. It's clearly a bug and yet it's a Poison/Dark, whilst Skorupi is Poison/Bug. I remember I was always confused when my fire attacks weren't super-effective :p Why even the Bug-Type elite four in the Sinnoh region uses this Pokemon xD It is a unique typing, I'll give it that =P

I've always wondered why no one in the Flygon evolution chain was Bug-type. Everything, from its real-life origin, to its appearance, to its moves, should at least make Trapinch a Bug-type. It should've at least be a Bug-type until it evolves into Flygon, at which point it transforms into a Dragon-type. The Ground-type can stay throughout all its evolutions.

Flygon, not only does it have the word fly in its name, it has the ability Levitate, it should be Dragon/Flying or Dragon/Bug, not Dragon/Ground; considering it never touches the ground...but I guess with Salamence and Altaria being introduced in the same generation, GameFreak must have felt a 3rd Dragon/Flying type was a little redundant.

Yeah. I mostly agree on the Dragon/Flying being types. Maybe Game Freak did not want another Dragon/Flying type since 2 were introduced in the same generation.

I agree a little bit that it should be Dragon/Bug Type.

Thanks for the little fact!

Yeah Drapion's Dark type... Yeah I agree with that one.

No one mentioned Sudowoodo yet? It's a pure rock type tree. It was the ultimate troll-mon.

I have 2 nosence Pokemon types. My #1 is:
Gyarados. Gyarados had to be Dragon - Water types, but Nintendo and GF made it Water - Flying. Thats really dumb, and many peoples thought about it since GEN 1!
My #2 is:
Charizard. Charizard looks exactly like a Dragon type, but they made it Fire - Flying types. Actually, if we think about it - Fire and Flying are Dragons..

I'm going to have to agree and disagree with you. Gyrados was actually originally meant to be Water/ Dragon type back in Gen 1. However, there was one problem with that. You notice up until gen 6 there were pokemon that had no weaknesses. Dark/ Ghost. However, you also notice that both Sableye and spirittomb are both limited in what they can do. Gyrados however was to over powered to get the no weaknesses. Plus it's based on flying Chinese dragons what is the candidate to replace dragon? Flying type.

Now with Charizard I feel like he should have been Fire/Dragon and given the ability levitate. That's why Charizard X is clearly levitating

I would think that lugia'a typing should be switched with palias. Lugia should be a water flying, and palkia should be a dragon phykic. Why phykic, palkia just looks it.

Ground/Flying types
Because they're already flying, and yet, they're grounded. That's seriously one thing I won't understand.
Then Groudon wasn't a Fire type, but it was fixed in ORAS. That was surprising, because that's what it really looked like. Sure, the name is Groudon, but it has Drought, which would be for Fire types (well, also Grass types).

1.Mawile/Azurill Evolution Chain/Ralts Evolutin Chain
Why are these fairy type? They have nothing to do with other pkmn of this type

2.Shuckle is a clearly a turtle,but still its bug/stone

3.Why are Noibat and Noivern dragon type?

4.Doduo and Dodrio are flying type, which doesnt make sense, since they cant fly judging by their appearance

5.With Stunfisk its the same as with Ground/Flying Type

6.Lucario apprently is steel type for some reason
