Hi guys,
it's me and now I'm team building. I'm aiming at a defensive team that can take hits and then dish them out again. Also i want it to try and cover many types. But i would like a Arcanine in the team though.
I think it would be
SLAM PUPPY (shady penguinn is awesome)
No sure what item (probably leftovers)
248 HP
252 Def
8 SpD
Flamethrower
toxic/will o wisp
flare blitz/morning sun
extreme speed
Do you have any other suggestion

Arcanine @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Morning Sun
- Roar
- Flare Blitz
- Extreme Speed
?
Smogon's set is pretty good, Moring Sun restores, roar can push out setup sweepers or super effective ypes. Flare Blitz is for when half health and Extreme SPeed for picking off oppenets

Here's my attempt at a UU team built around Arcanine for you because Arcanine isn't really viable in OU whatsoever as its generally outclassed by Heatran, so UU is the only tier where Arcanine really has any chance to shine (no pun intended).Regarding Arcanine, we have a standard physically defensive set with Morning Sun, Will o Wisp to cripple switch ins like Suicune, Swampert, Rhyperior, etc, Flare Blitz for STAB and Extreemespeed for priority. Arcanine's role on the team is to be used as a pivot into more offensive mons like Shaymin and Mienshao and since it'll be switching in quite often, it'll need Rapid Spin support so it doesn't get crippled by entry hazards which leads us to next member, Mega Blastoise. Mega Blastoise spins away Stealth Rocks and deals with threats to Arcanine such as Mega Aerodactyl and Entei who Arcanine can't really afford to switch into but since Arcanine still struggles with bulky waters like Suicune and Swampert, to give the team better synergy and help form a FWG core, we'll be adding Shaymin. Shaymin helps deal with threats like Suicune, Swampert, Alomolola, Mega Blastoise and Empoleon which completely wall Arcanine and generally serve as a wallbreaker with its amazing coverage. Since this team is currently stopped by Blissey, we'll need to add a Fighting type, I chose Mienshao because of its synergy with Arcanine and Shaymin, Arcanine after lowering the opponent's Atk can be used as a pivot switch into Mienshao and since Mienshao has access to U turn, it can be as a pivot switch into Shaymin, along with U turn, we have High Jump Kick for STAB which is incredibly powerful with Reckless and Life Orb, Knock Off allows us to hit ghost types and Poison Jab allows us to 2HKO fairy types like Florges and speaking of Florges we'll be using one ourselves because not only does it sponge special attacks targeted towards Arcanine it offers wish and cleric support, something all our previous members greatly appreciate. Lastly we have Hydreigon as a revenge killer and late game sweeper and handles Pokemon like Cresselia and Alakazam. The only problem I see with this team is that Pokemon like Hydreigon and Shaymin greatly appreciate Stealth Rock support and there really isn't any room for a Stealth Rock setter on the team as replacing Mega Blastoise with a Pokemon like Swampert causes Arcanine to lose its Rapid Spin support, but I feel this is still a decent Balance team nonetheless and I hope I've helped you in some way.
