Now is a great time if you've been considering to build a gaming PC.

Nvidia has announced the RTX 3070, a $499 graphics card that's said to be faster than the more expensive RTX 2080 Ti, that costs around $1,200. That's a crazy price jump.
With 20 shader TFLOPS, 40 RT TFLOPS, and 163 Tensor TFLOPS, the RTX 3070 is specced for high-end gaming. That's courtesy of the Ampere graphics architecture, and a whopping 5,888 CUDA cores. It's also equipped with 8GB of GDDR6 memory.

What do you think? Would you consider the RTX 3070 graphics card for your gaming PC?

Looks like the RTX 3090 is actually their new Titan card. Not normally a consumer card so it's honestly weird seeing it this cheap. The price for titan cards includes the cloud stuff and AI software though so I presume that stuff isn't gonna be with the 3090.

Also makes sense with the naming scheme then, drop the xx60 in return for bringing the titans to consumers, or at least a market inbetween.

For the 3070 vs the 2080ti, I'm gonna have to say that's just PR talk, at least until we get some proper benchmarks. A bit faster? Sure, but that's expected. Better? That 3gb less of memory is quite a bit. Even the 3080 is missing 1gb. I'd say it's more comparable to the 2080 standard honestly. Same memory, better speeds which again, is just expected.

The prices look good, but this is just MSRP prices, you'll most likely be paying more for them.
