yeh u could have come up with something exciting such as oshawott gets grabbed and saved or a bird type pokemon swoops down and grabbes oshawott or oshawott grabbs hold of the edge or something like that then we could have continued the story or pooh bear pulls oshawott back up just but saying oshawott dies is not very exciting the story could have been way longer or a stone falls oshawott catches it and gets teleported or oshawott shell grows and makes a raft and it spills out water under neth it and oshawott is on the raft in water or a magical portal opens and oshawott gets sucked in just plz choose one of them to make it more exciting or just something that does not end the story or he good suvive the fall or he falls dies like u sed and a 1 up mushroom is slowy coming towards him that's on floor
