When I was playing Legend of Zelda Wind Waker, I decided to get some treasure and so I thought I was gonna get a red rupee. Nope. The game throws me a regular rupee......BAAAAAAA!!!

It's as if the game is trolling you by throwing you one rupee when you expect to get tons of them:rotfl:.
And when the game throws you a bunch of rupees, you don't have anymore space to hold them. Welcome to the forum btw~

It's terrible in the DS games For some reason Link looks just as happy getting one rupee out of a treasure chest as 50. I can only assume he doesn't care for money that much :p

The Legend of Zelda games always finds a way to troll you hehe. I think I found the same chest as you. I usually don`t care much about rupees (I prefer to find maps and heart pieces), but at least give me 20 for finding it lol. It also reminds of the amiibos that gives me 1 rupee in Hyrule Warriors... cheapskates.

Yes smash the pots!:D I love to break pots in Zelda games cuz it became a habit

I hate spacing it makes me sad :( I literally have no space at all then I find like 6 treasure chests with no spaces after smash a whole lot of pots lol The grass gives less but I still do just in case ;)

Hey Hey hey D:
Be glad you didn't get those horrible rupoors that actually take away your rupees . But then still having the excitement of opening a chest and finding out that it was only a one rupee is still something pretty trollish to me :p but then your lucky that not all games have rupoors :p

Hehe I know that feel. There are some places in Zelda where you can gamble. You shouldn't try those since you will loose more rupees. One of the biggest trolls in Zelda is finding a Rupee that is worth alot and then this comes out " You got a (amount of money) Rupee! ... But you don't have any space for it, so let's put it back" Troll...

Yeah finding out you don't have enough space is the bigger enemy no matter what Legend of Zelda game rupees will be your biggest enemy. I talk for everyone when I say that. Like come on Nintendo you put the rupees that are actually worth something in the weirdest places ever!

AUGGGGGGGGGGHH!!! AUGGGH! That's how I would usually react if I receive just one Rupee.

If you ever played OoT, you would've had an overflowing wallet when you got to the Spirit Temple and from that point on, the game literally throws rupees at you, and I mean literally throw! There are enemies that drop purple rupees and there's nothing you can do about it. At least Majora's Mask has the banker instead of the guy that gives you 50 Rupees for a bug in a bottle.

Ugh I know right?! In Wind Waker I thought I was going to get one of the big ones- you know the ones with 50< rupees in it- and I finally found it, pulled it out and got 1 green rupee.

Yep. Zelda, the original troll.

I've had things like this happen to me multiple times when playing Zelda games.

It's to make you feel more accomplished from getting an orange or silver rupee from the chest, at least it wasn't a monster or even worse, tingle hiding in the chest and he fly away with the rupees you already had, and what does the king of the red lions think when Links got his happy face on from getting one rupee from the sea chest, "This idiot is color blind!" no offense to color blind people. :cat:

Link mustve been like oh shoot this is incredible! This is gonna be great! He opens it bam! One rupee! His ssmile became to a mad face. But when you saved and turned it off he was fliping off. Lol well Ive remember I had a counter with that treasure chest. It only gave me one rupee as well but IDK
